2009 is the year in which we celebrate our 20th year of operation, in one form or another. We recognise the Centre has had a checkered, at times turbulent past, but the current managment is more interested in what is happening now and in the future because that is what we have to look forward to.

Gone are the days when the Centre was "a drop-in centre for drop-outs." In fact, if you have a look at our program you might be surprised at how inclusive the Centre's activities really are.

2009 is the year when there is a lot of new things happening at the Centre. A new extension, a mini facelift, new Leisure and Interest programs, a craft co-operative, a espresso coffee machine and the planning for a community garden make the Centre an exciting place to be part of.

So our challenge to you, whether you have been here in the past or you've never seen the place, is to come and take a look at us now. If you like what you see, tell others. If you don't like what you see, tell us.

The Murray Bridge Community Centre is your centre. It is here for you. We are open 9-4 Monday to Friday during school terms and weekdays 10-3 during school holidays, and the kettle is always on.
